In most cases, the rugs are named after the city they are woven in. They are dominated by floral patterns symbolising the gardens of paradise, and nature with motifs of deer, goats, trees and other herbivorous animals.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is pictorial rug known as a '\u003cem\u003eDarya\u003c\/em\u003e' rug (persian meaning: '\u003cem\u003eriver\u003c\/em\u003e'), derived from the river scene depicted in the rug.
